SOSA Staff Report

CHILLICOTHE — Allison Basye has been electrifying all year long, and that’s putting it mildly.

Huntington’s star sophomore forward has done a bit of everything while leading the SVC in scoring and averaging a double-double. This past week, she was named the SVC Player of the Year. She also broke her own single-game scoring record with 41 points in a 70-31 win over Zane Trace.

For those reasons, Basye has been voted as SOSA’s Athlete of the Week.
