Division III

Ironton 3, Adena 2

The Warriors (17-8) battled and fought resiliently, but a sacrifice fly from Ironton’s Katelyn Moore in the bottom of the sixth ended their season.

Greenlee Bossert suffered the loss in a complete game performance, allowing three earned runs on six hits.

Caelen Miner finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and Cheyenne Ater and Kiera Williams each finished 1-for-3 with a run scored.

Division IV

Notre Dame 4, South Webster 1

The Titans (23-0) remained perfect on the season, earning their biggest win so far and capturing a district championship with a victory over the Jeeps.

Gwen Sparks earned the win in the circle, going the distance and allowing just three hits while striking out 11 batters. Isabel Cassidy finished 2-for-2 with a double, a run scored and an RBI, and Annie Dettwiller went 1-for-3 with a triple, a run scored and an RBI.

Maddy Suter also was 1-for-3 with a double, a run scored and an RBI, while Claire Detwiller went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

For South Webster (17-9), Gwen Messer took the loss in six innings, giving up four earned runs and striking out five batters. Bri Claxon scored the Jeeps’ lone run.

The Titans will now meet with Peebles in a Division IV regional semifinal at 5 p.m., Wednesday at Pickerington Central High School.

Peebles 11, Symmes Valley 10

In a wild game that went down to the wire, the Indians (12-12) survived and earned their second straight district championship with a victory over the Vikings (16-8).

Avery Storer finished 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple and six RBIs to lead the Indians. 

Peebles will now face Notre Dame in a Division IV regional semifinal at 5 p.m., Wednesday at Pickerington Central High School.
