Take a look at the Southeast District’s all-district baseball teams

The Southeast District released its all-district baseball teams on Wednesday afternoon, highlighting an abundance of local athletes for their efforts this spring.

The list, which includes, first-team, second-team, honorable mention and special mention accolades, also adorned several area coaches with Coach of the Year honors — Jackson’s Josh McGraw, Fairfield Union’s Scott Burke, Gallia Academy’s Cory Camden, Unioto’s Tony Taylor, Ironton’s John Hunt, Minford’s Eli Daniels, Huntington’s Chad Carroll, Manchester’s Trey Meade, South Webster’s Ryan McClintic and Green’s Dave Shoupe.

Here’s a look at the full list of player selections inside SOSA’s coverage area, separated by divisions.

DIVISION II/III

In Divisions II/III, the first-team list includes Jackson’s Ryan Seimetz, Bodhi Wolford and Eli Ray, Miami Trace’s Gage Bowers, Cooper Enochs and Austin Brown, Hillsboro’s Jack Cornele, Chillicothe’s Tay Harris and Athens’ David Sharp. 

The second-team honorees are Miami Trace’s Brody McBee and Gavyn Maynard, Jackson’s Rylan Wyant, Athens’ Isaiah Arocho and Hillsboro’s Brody Kelch.

Jackson’s Waylon DeLong, Chillicothe’s Eshon Brown, Athens’ Zachary Wakeley and Hillsboro’s Zac Brown are honorable mention honorees.

Special mention honors were earned by Hillsboro’s Luke Holland, Walker Pence and Brady Juillerat, Miami Trace’s Jameson Hyer, Cam Morton and Keenan Moore, Jackson’s Leighton Camp and Ashton Seymour, Athens’ Mason Sweeney and Kade Short and Chillicothe’s Conner Bolen and James Wrinkle. 

DIVISION IV

The first-team all-district list in Division IV is headlined by Fairfield Union’s Ashton Waldrop, Eli Wolfe and Cameron Silcott, Waverly’s Xander Toler, Braylon Spriggs and Kage Alexander, Wheelersburg’s Cameron Conn and Brady Doss, Unioto’s Blake Sanders and Jaxon Zickafoose, Logan Elm’s Kelton Bennington and Camden Ebert, Vinton County’s Jase Moore and Wyatt Channell, McClain’s Easton Ary and Connor Chandler, Westfall’s Cash Conrad, Circleville’s Glavine Bigam, Washington’s Sam Lotz, Gallia Academy’s Beckett Camden and Meigs’ Jeremiah Martin. 

Second-team honorees in DIV are Gallia Academy’s Logen Drummond and Brady Conley, Logan Elm’s Zane Seimer, Circleville’s Kiser Cassidy, McClain’s Carson Chandler, Washington’s Bryson Heath, Westfall’s Rick Hanley, Fairfield Union’s Brady Andrews, Waverly’s Caeleb Cox, Wheelersburg’s Andrew Tabor, Meigs’ Tyson Spires and Unioto’s Jack Welch. 

Vinton County’s Donovan Holcomb and David Northam, Wheelersburg’s Brady Music and Bransyn Russell, Meigs’ Brice Butcher and Cameron Allen, Unioto’s Blake Smith, Waverly’s Landon Remy, Circleville’s Chase Foster, Logan Elm’s Brady Neff, McClain’s Hunter Peabody, Washington’s Aden Osbourne, Westfall’s AJ Pluta, Fairfield Union’s Garrett Dilcher and Gallia Academy’s Maddux Delaney are honorable mention recipients.

In Division VI, Manchester’s Luke Applegate, Clayton Colvin and Traevyn Hilderbrand, North Adams’ Colin Tolle, Trace Evans and Maverick Winkler, Huntington’s Andrew Oyer, Frankie Hirsch and Troy McDonald, Eastern Meigs’ Ethan Edwards, Clayton Moore and Caleb Abner, Eastern’s Cade Leist and Trey Kelly, Symmes Valley’s Tanner Corn and Andy Strow, Waterford’s Hayden Jones and Braun Doak, Paint Valley’s Jase Rinehart and Preston Fauber, Eastern Brown’s Braxton Vance and Will Litzinger and Peebles’ Bo Johnson and Braylen Stephens are all first-team honorees.

The second-team list includes Symmes Valley’s Gradee Holland and Tanner Thompson, Belpre’s AJ Copen, Eastern Meigs’ Lane Atha, Eastern’s Eric Manley, Paint Valley’s Brennan Ison, Manchester’s Carson Inman, Eastern Brown’s Jaidon Florence, Peebles’ Nash Grooms and North Adams’ Cooper Roush. 

Eastern’s Christian Smith and Grant Havens, Huntington’s Tucker Hopkins and Landon Lowery, Peebles’ Crew Wilson and Caleb Johnson, North Adams’ Hunton Shiveley, Paint Valley’s Bryce Blanton, Eastern Brown’s Kolston Schweitzer, Paint Valley’s Owen Donahue, Waterford’s Henry Huffman and Eastern Meigs’ Trace Barnett have earned honorable mention.

DIVISION VII

In Division VII, South Webster’s Hunter Barnard, Beninah Andrews and Brycin McClintic, Green’s Jon Knapp, Gabe Blevins and Riddick Jenkins, Clay’s Evan Rider, Noah Woods and Colby Secrist, Ironton St. Joe’s Evan Aldridge and Beckham Waginger, Trimble’s Bradley Cahoe and Bennie Warren, Whiteoak’s Izayiah Clift and Abraham Flader, Notre Dame’s Luke Cassidy and Sawyer Rutman, Southern’s Jeremy Harmon and Jack Wickline, Fairfield’s Ben Miller and South Gallia’s Garrett Gibson are first-team all-district honorees.

The second-team list includes Notre Dame’s Bryce McGraw and Ethan Kingery, Federal Hocking’s Brody Rutter, Southern’s Greyson Duvall, Trimble’s Caleb Cahoe, Ironton St. Joe’s Barrett Waginger, South Webster’s Easton Large, Green’s Noah McMackin, Western’s Chase Ware, Fairfield’s Cameron Miller and Clay’s Cade Munion.
