CHILLICOTHE — Throughout the season, Unioto’s Kinzli Batson engineered the Shermans’ offensive attack as the program won its first SVC title since 2023.
The junior setter did a little bit of everything, compiling 189 digs, 37 blocks, 55 kills, 43 service aces and a league-leading 749 assists.
Those numbers helped her earn the SVC’s Player of the Year honor as the league announced their all-conference teams on Wednesday.
Also earning individual honors is Adena’s Kimmy Dalton, who earned the SVC’s Defensive POY award for the third consecutive season. Dalton helped lead the Warriors’ defense with 469 digs and 416 receptions, crossing the 1500-mark in her career in both categories.
