BOYS HOOPS: Miami Trace’s Adam Guthrie headlines area’s Division III All-Ohio selections

COLUMBUS — Miami Trace’s Adam Guthrie has been at the forefront of the Panthers’ attack since he first stepped onto the court. 

His final act saw him help bring the Panthers 18 wins and a third-straight Gold Ball while scoring 15 points per game, earning himself first-team All-Ohio honors as the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association released its Division I, II and and III All-Ohio boys basketball honors on Thursday.

Elsewhere in Division III, Hillsboro’s Jack Howland earned third-team honors after scoring 25.4 points per night and becoming Hillsboro’s all-time leading scorer. 

Marietta’s Owen Riley, Chillicothe’s Caydon Cox and Jackson’s Bodhi Wolford earned special mention honors, and Miami Trace’s Gage Bowers, Athens’ Collin Chapman, Chillicothe’s Cooper Stoneking, Jackson’s Charlie Woodard and Marietta’s Zaiden Wittekind all graced the honorable mention list.
