GALLIPOLIS — The Ohio Valley Conference has announced its all-league volleyball and soccer teams, and three familiar names lead the selections.
Gallia Academy’s pair of Beckett Camden and Gracyn Clark, alongside Fairland’s Molly Dunlap, have been named the boys soccer, volleyball and girls soccer Players of the Year.
Camden scored 28 goals and passed out 14 assists for the 16-win Dragons, Clark led the Blue Angels to 24 wins, the OVC title and a district-runner up finish with 896 assists, 204 digs and 65 aces, and Dunlap netted 20 goals alongside 14 assists while leading the Dragons to an 11-5-2 record.
Gallia Academy swept the board in Coach of the Year accolades as Cory Camden (boys soccer), Teresa Daniels (girls soccer) and Ashton Webb (volleyball) earned that honor.
Here’s a look at each sport’s all-league selections.
BOYS SOCCER
Joining Camden with first-team honors are teammates Logen Drummond, Nathan Shockey, Rylan Blaine, Owen Nourse, Jaxon Myers and Heath Champlin, Chesapeake’s Aden Parrott, who was named Offensive Player of the Year, Rolan Aragon, Owen Murray, Jacob Bentley and Nathan Silk, Portsmouth’s Eli Roth, Brady Mullins, Jacob Roth and Tyreke Lewis, Ironton’s Liam Almekinder, Jack Lambert and A.J. Forest, Fairland’s Mitchell Dunlap, Brady Adkins and Liam Shook, Rock Hill’s Jaxson Bridenthal and Cameron Howard and South Point’s Ezra Young and Trey Borstein, who was named the OVC Defensive Player of the Year.
Honorable mention honors were earned by Gallia’s Colton Reed and Kryan Daniels, Chesapeake’s Julius Preston and Landon Kerns, Portsmouth’s Brody Monrraga and Joe Greene, Ironton’s Maddix Chagala and Nate Sloan, Fairland’s Josh Hunt and Gavin Kuhn, South Point’s Tyler Collinsworth and Israel Schneider and Rock Hill’s Mayson Black and Christian Depriest.

Joining Dunlap on first-team was her teammate Annabelle Wyatt, who was named OVC Defensive Player of the Year, Bailey Russell, Macy Auxier, McKalia Thomas and Laekyn Wilks, Gallia Academy’s Abbie Brabham, who was named OVC Offensive Player of the Year, Maggie Davis, Sophia Sola, Azey Clagg, Cloie Drummond and Sadie Cummons, Rock Hill’s Bailey Wilds, Haven Noel, Laelle Gilmore and Audrey Knipp, Ironton’s Addison Murray, Addison Neal and Elle Virgin, Chesapeake’s Lily Helmstetler, Laila Wentz and Hollie Moore and South Point’s Jocelyn Skeens and Makayla Clark.
Earning honorable mention accolades are Gallia Academy’s Jenna Henry and Taylor Barnes, Fairland’s Yardley Gorby and Meredith Dunlap, Rock Hill’s Alaina Wilds and Kaidy Wilds, Ironton’s Josie Paulie and Clara Rudmann, Chesapeake’s Ava Napier and K.J. Collins and South Point’s Belle Coffman and Yazzmyn Bowling.
VOLLEYBALL
Alongside Clark with first-team honors was her teammates Aubree Frazier, who was named the OVC Offensive Player of the Year, Aspen Barnes, Abby Clark and Chloe Bennett.
Chesapeake’s Abbey Isaacs, who was named OVC Defensive Player of the Year, Erin Lowe and Abby Iden, South Point’s Molly Adams, Addison Copley and Grace Cameron, Fairland’s Addison Godby and Carlee Hall, Ironton’s Khamil Martin and Lilly Lewis, Portsmouth’s Sienna Allen and Reagen Bowling, Coal Grove’s Emma Lively and Rock Hill’s Lexi Mullins are also first-team honorees.Honorable mention volleyball selections are as follows: Gallia Academy’s Rylee Saunders, Chesapeake’s Lila Ferguson, South Point’s Peyton Williamson, Fairland’s Audrey Stephenson, Ironton’s Amaya Barbour, Portsmouth’s Makiyah McGinnis, Coal Grove’s Kasey Vanderoof and Rock Hill’s Samantha Bamer.
