JACKSON — It’s been quite the senior year for Jackson’s T.J. Carpenter

After helping the Ironladies earn a Gold Ball during soccer season, she turned around and did the same thing on the basketball court.

The standout senior finished the season averaging 17.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.4 steals per night. Those numbers helped her earn her second FAC Player of the Year award while her Ironladies finished a second consecutive undefeated league season.

Jackson is 20-2 overall and is preparing to host Hillsboro at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday in a Division II sectional final.

She is joined on the all-FAC list by teammates Mattie Walburn and Kenzie Davis, as well as McClain’s Paisley Pryor and Lily Barnes, Hillsboro’s Peighton Bledsoe and Blake Herdman, Miami Trace’s Jessee Stewart, and Chillicothe’s Avery Cox.
