The OVC has released its all-league volleyball and soccer teams.

PROCTORVILLE — The Ohio Valley Conference has announced its all-league volleyball and soccer teams and three familiar names lead the selections.

Fairland’s Gabe Polcyn and South Point’s pair of Jasmyn Jones and Camille Hall have been named the boys soccer, girls soccer and volleyball Players of the Year.

Polcyn scored 19 goals for the nine-win Dragons, Jones netted 32 goals alongside five assists while leading the Pointers to six victories, and Hall led her teammates to 14 wins.

Coach of the Years honors were as follows: Gallia’s Cory Camden (boys soccer), Rock Hill’s Summer Collins (girls soccer) and Fairland’s Mary Haynes (volleyball).

Here’s a brief look at each sport’s all-league selections.

BOYS SOCCER

Joining Polcyn with first-team honors are teammates Shane Rowe and Ben Prino, as well as Gallia’s Beckett Camden, Kalin Schneider, Cade Mock and Logen Drummond, South Point’s Josh Childers, Joey Bloebaum and Moritz Klattenhoff, Chesapeake’s Tyler Collingsworth and Aden Parrott, Portsmouth’s Zach Roth and Malachi Loper, and Rock Hill’s Connor Blagg.

Honorable mention honors were earned by Gallia’s Jaxon Myers and Braidy Duncan, South Point’s Aden Martin and Lucian Heaberlin, Fairland’s Evan William and Aeden Miller, Chesapeake’s Judah Silk and Rolan Aragon, Portsmouth’s Jacob Roth and Isaiah Padraza, and Rock Hill’s Ethan Blagg and Dylan Griffith.

GIRLS SOCCER

Rock Hill had four first-team selections in Abigail Payne, Emma Scott, Chloe Long and Allison Rogers while Fairland’s first-team selections were Kam Barnitz, Angela Li and Molly Dunlap. Also earning first-team recognition is South Point’s Nevaeh Huff and Jaidyn Malone, Gallia’s Mary Howell and Sarah Wilcoxon, and Chesapeake’s Brooklyn McComas and Lucy Johnson.

Earning honorable mention accolades are Rock Hill’s Mackenzie Wilds and Haylee Dancy, Fairland’s Joelie Jarrell and Kali Hall, South Point’s Ella Cassidy and Haylie Patrick, Gallia’s Kenya Peck and Kennedy Smith, and Chesapeake’s Brooklyn Webb and Angel Hundley.

VOLLEYBALL

Fairland, who won the conference title, leads the league with three first-team selections in Maci Workman, Kylee Bruce and Jordan Spencer.

Chesapeake’s Dakota Cameron and Hannah Webb, South Point’s Molly Adams and Aydson Copley, Gallia’s Jalyn Short and Gracyn Clark, Portsmouth’s Maysa Calvin and Olivia Dickerson, Coal Grove’s Kylie Montgomery, Ironton’s Graycie Brammer and Rock Hill’s J’Lynn Risner are also first-team honorees.

Honorable mention volleyball selections are as follows: Fairland’s Chloe Mayo, Chesapeake’s Erin Lowe, South Point’s Liz Ermalovich, Gallia’s Bella Barnette, Portsmouth’s Ayonna Carr, Coal Grove’s Alivia Noel, Ironton’s Katie Williams and Rock Hill’s Blayr Knipp.
