Wheelersburg’s Miller, Minford’s Conkel headline all-SOC soccer lists

The Southern Ohio Conference has released its all-league girls soccer list.

After winning Southern Ohio Conference title, Wheelersburg nearly swept every postseason league award as the SOC unveiled its all-league girls soccer list.

Bella Miller has been named the co-Player of the Year alongside Minford’s Lexi Conkel. Miller helped the Pirates to 13 wins alongside a sectional title with 27 goals and eight assists. Conkel, meanwhile, lifted the Falcons to 11 wins and a district final appearance with 37 goals. 

Wheelersburg’s Maddison Kotcamp is the Defensive Player of the Year, while Pirates head coach Kevin Powell is the Coach of the Year. 

Joining Miller and Kotcamp from the Pirates are Amber Blevins, Haleigh Collier, Mia Vastine, Ella Hochstetler, Krista Williams and Makenzie Mullins. Conkel is joined by teammates Ava Cronin, Sadie Hatfield, Lexie Pendleton and Maggie Risner

Rounding out the SOC II honors are Waverly’s Rachel Remy, Paige O’Bryant, Emma Davis and Delani Teeters alongside Northwest’s Mollyann Runyon, Brooklyn Hawes and Mariana Santiago

Making the second-team list is Wheeelrsburg’s Sophia Bradford, Abby Conn and Layni Greenhill, Minford’s Ella Estep, Marlee Pendleton and Addie Lemon, Waverly’s Abby Green and Leah Walters and Northwest’s Angelina Bowen and Hannah Jones.
