The District 14 Volleyball Coaches Association released its all-district volleyball teams on Tuesday morning and three All-Ohio caliber names headlined the lists.

Fairfield Union’s Christian Thompson, South Webster’s Bella Claxon and Notre Dame’s Bree Hicks have all been named their respective Division’s District Player of the Year — Thompson in Division I/II, Claxon in Division III and Hicks in Division IV.

Thompson has led her Falcons to a 20-4 mark this fall while piling up 565 kills, 46 aces and 347 digs. Claxon has again been magnificent for the undefeated Jeeps — now at 24-0 — while racking up 258 kills, 80 aces, 263 digs and 498 assists. And Hicks, in her own right, has been special for the 21-win Titans with 264 kills, 50 aces, 23 blocks and 270 digs.
