CHILLICOTHE — The Scioto Valley Conference released its all-league soccer teams on Thursday and two familiar names headlined the list.

Unioto’s duo of Lucas Hanes and Aidyn Danison — who each led their teams to perfect records against league competition — have been named the SVC’s Players of the Year.

Danison and company won the program’s fifth consecutive Gold Ball while Hanes, who has led the Shermans to a 12-5 record this season with 30 goals, has defended his POY honor.

Goalie of the Year honors went to Unioto’s Maya Free while Zane Trace’s Judah Hanks defended his GOY honor from last fall. Free has paced the Shermans to a 8-6-1 mark while pitching six shutouts, and Hanks is at the center of a team that’s 12-3-1 with 83 saves.
