WASHINGTON C.H. — When the ball is in Connor Bucher‘s left hand, good luck getting on base.

It’s been that way for quite some time now and Bucher has only gotten better as his career has progressed. On Monday, the senior was named the Frontier Athletic Conference’s Player of the Year for the second straight season.

Bucher has hit .393 this season alongside 19 runs scored, eight doubles and 17 RBIs. And, on the hill, he’s been lights out with a 4-2 record to go along with a 0.72 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 35 1/3 innings of work.

Joining Bucher with first-team all-FAC honors are teammates Cole Little and Dillon Hyer.

Jackson, which won a share of the league title, saw Bryson Brown, Caeleb McGraw and Holden Blankenship collect all-league honors while Washington, who won the other share of the league title, had Tanner Lemaster and AJ Dallmayer honored.

Rounding out the all-FAC baseball list is Hillsboro’s Quintin Captain and Spencer Wyckoff, and McClain’s Kaden Penwell.
