Southern Hills Athletic Conference releases all-league boys, girls basketball teams

The Southern Hills Athletic Conference has released its all-league boys and girls basketball teams.

A host of familiar names are headlining the Southern Hills Athletic Conference’s all-league boys and girls basketball lists.

The all-league boys lists includes the following selections: Eastern’s Luke Garrett and Trent Hundley, Fairfield’s Tytis Cannon and Reese Teeters, Whiteoak’s Bradley Ashbaugh and Landon Barnett, Lynchburg-Clay’s Brady Chisman, Ripley’s Braiden Bennington and Gaby Fyffe, Fayetteville’s Jayden Bradshaw and Blake Coffman, North Adams’ Bransyn Copas, Peebles’ Alan McCoy and Zane Porter and Manchester’s Isaiah Scott.

The SHAC’s Boys Coach of the Year is Fairfield’s Josh Howland.

The all-league girls list includes the following selections: Eastern’s Rylee Leonard, Torie Utter and Mya Hamilton, Fayetteville’s Olivia Crawford and Anne Murphy, North Adams’ Keetyn Hupp and Laney Ruckel, Peebles’ Payton Johnson, West Union’s Alexa Rowe, Whiteoak’s Jaylie Parr, Lynchburg-Clay’s Macy Etienne and Jade Massey, and Fairfield’s Madison Bronner, Emma Fouch and Peyton Magee.

The SHAC’s Girls Coach of the Year is Eastern’s Kevin Pickerill.

The Player of the Year, in both the boys and girls leagues, will be announced at the all-league banquet on March 6.
