Wheelersburg’s Aaron Jolly wins The UPS Store’s SOC Athlete of the Week award

Jolly scored two goals in a win over Valley and passed out an assist in a victory over Northwest.

WHEELERSBURG — Aaron Jolly continues to do what Aaron Jolly does best: score.

Wheelersburg’s senior standout has guided the Pirates to a 7-0 start and a 3-0 mark in the Southern Ohio Conference. Last week, Jolly scored two goals in a win over Valley while passing out an assist in a 1-0 victory over Northwest.

For his efforts, Jolly is SOSA’s 23rd overall SOC Athlete of the Week, presented by The UPS Store.

Out of 901 public votes, Jolly accounted for exactly 357 or 39.6 percent of the total. Clay’s Katie Fife finished second in the voting with 272, Green’s Kame Sweeney was third with a count of 211, and Notre Dame’s Claire Dettwiller was fourth at 61.

Jolly received three of the four votes from the guys at SOSA to win the award.

For his efforts, Jolly will receive a free t-shirt from The UPS Store, as well as meal coupons from the Schmidt Family Restaurant Group.
