Eastern's Logan Clemmons has been voted as SOSA's Athlete of the Week.

SOSA Staff Report

FRANKFORT — So far this season, Logan Clemmons has been nothing short of special.

Behind its senior leader, Eastern has started the season 2-0 with wins over McClain and East.

In last week’s victory over the Tartans, Clemmons totaled six catches for 83 yards and a touchdown and a 63-yard touchdown run, alongside seven tackles and an interception on the defensive side of the football.

For those reasons, Clemmons has been voted as SOSA’s Athlete of the Week.

Out of 1,558 public votes, Sykes accounted for 556 or 35.7 percent of the total. Paint Valley’s Cavan Cooper finished second in the voting with 389, Waverly’s Zoiee Smith was third with a count of 237, Zane Trace’s Kinley May finished fourth at 222, and Southeastern’s Sierra Mitten was fifth with 154.

Clemmons received thre of the four votes from the guys at SOSA as well.

For his efforts, Clemmons will receive a free t-shirt and water bottle, thanks to Mile Tree Screen Printing, and a free Wendy’s combo meal via Schmidt Family Restaurant Group.
