SOSA Staff Report
JACKSON — Electric. Exceptional. Special …. the list goes on and on.
That list is jam-packed with adjectives that could describe Jackson’s Caleb Wallis, who has led the Ironmen to 20-3 mark this season and an 8-2 record inside league action.
Friday afternoon, Wallis was named the Frontier Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and for good reason.

The University of Rio Grande commit leads the team in scoring and when his coaches and teammates need a bucket in the worst of ways, more often than not, he’s the one to deliver it with a smile.
Wallis’ teammates Braxton Hammond and Caden Donaldson also received all-league nods as the Ironmen search for their second straight sectional title.
They’ll have the chance to nail that down against Logan Elm at 3 p.m., Saturday at Southeastern High School.
Also appearing on the all-league list is Chillicothe’s Jayvon Maughmer, Brandon Noel and Tre Beard. That trio has paced the Cavaliers to an 18-4 mark. Chillicothe won the FAC title with a perfect 10-0 record in league play.
McClain’s Bryson Badgley, Hillsboro’s Ryan Scott and Miami Trace’s Logan Rodgers also received all-FAC honors. The Tigers, Indians and Panthers have concluded their seasons.
