After a key 46-34 win over Paint Valley this past weekend, Southeastern (9-0) has firmly placed itself at the top spot in the Division VI, Region 24 computer rankings, which were officially revealed Monday afternoon.
The Panthers have earned 18.8444 points to claim the top spot while the Bearcats (7-2) still hold the No. 2 spot in the region with 15.4278 points. Also in the region, Adena (8-1) is at No. 3 with 14.2111 points.
If those seeds would hold true throughout Week 10 — Adena and Southeastern play each other this Friday — Southeastern would matchup with Fairbanks in the first round of the playoffs while Paint Valley would host Covington and Adena would host Worthington Christian.
Also in the latest OHSAA computer rankings, Jackson (9-0) still holds the No. 3 spot in Division III, Region 11 with 23.9667 points. The Ironmen would host a Week 11 matchup with London if the current seeds stand.
In Division IV, Region 15, Waverly (7-2) is also at No. 3 with 17.9556 points. The Tigers are currently paired with St. Clairsville in a Week 11 tilt.
Wheelersburg (6-3) comes in at No. 2 in Division V, Region 19 with 19.8222 points while Oak Hill (5-4) is at No. 8 in the region with 11.5944 points. If those seeds hold, the Pirates would host Wellston while the Oaks would travel to top-seeded Ironton in Week 11.
