The only player in Division II fitting that description is Miami Trace’s Jessica Camp, who is a second-team All-Ohio selection after leading the Panthers to 15 wins this past season.

Camp, a senior catcher, will attend Capital University next spring to play softball. During her senior year, she sat at the heart of Miami Trace’s lineup and consistently reached base safely.

In Division III, Oak Hill’s Caitlyn Brisker earned first-team All-Ohio honors. Brisker, a junior, was the Southern Ohio Conference’s Player of the Year, leading the Oaks to an overall record of 16-10.

Brisker was joined on Division III’s All-Ohio list by Westfall’s Marcy Dudgeon and Wheelersburg’s Boo Sturgill, who both received second-team All-Ohio nods.

Dudgeon, a junior pitcher, led Westfall to a Scioto Valley Conference title and 23 wins while Sturgill, a sophomore second baseman, led the Pirates to a district final appearance and a perfect record inside SOC II action.

There were three All-Ohio selections in Division IV, including Symmes Valley’s Sarah Kingery, Notre Dame’s Cassie Schaefer and Clay’s Shae Vassar.

Kingery, the SOC I’s Player of the Year, helped the Vikings win nine conference games while Schaefer, the SOC I’s Pitcher of the Year, led the Titans to 22 wins and a district championship. Vassar, a senior shortstop, played an imperative role in the Panthers’ 22 wins and share of the SOC I title.

Earning honorable mention All-Ohio honors was Unioto’s Jocie Fisher and Jackson’s Taylor Evans in Division II while Huntington’s Kylee Kellough and Wheelersburg’s Rylie Hughes did the same in Division III.

In Division IV, Notre Dame’s Isabel Cassidy, South Webster’s Gwen Messer and Green’s Ava Jenkins earned honorable mention All-Ohio honors.
